Inspired by traditional designs, this beautiful shawl from G H Hurt & Son, is made from the softest finest yarns which originate from the famous Australian Merino sheep.

Made of super-fine merino wool, this beautiful and delicate design is knitted in a lovely ivory white. It is ideal for use as an elegant Christening shawl or special occasion blanket.

Each shawl is hand-finished with a scalloped edge, in the traditional Shetland way.

Care: All our shawls are washed using gentle products suitable for sensitive skin, so are ready for use straight away. Due to the nature of our traditionally hand-finished products, knitted in fine quality yarns, please wash by hand in water not above 30°C in temperature and dry flat, away from direct sunlight. Scalloped edges will naturally relax after washing. This is normal and does not deter from the quality of the product. For a perfect finish simply pin out the scalloped edges, cover with a cloth and press with a cool iron.T
